Isobel Parks, a young aspiring filmmaker, is taking another major step in her career with a beautiful short film, “I Don’t Like Gardening.” Originally from the beaches of Toronto, Isobel now spends her time in Pickering surrounded by nature. Her second short film is soon to be submitted to film festivals across the country. She was successful in creating a historic and natural atmosphere to coincide with the deep, emotional, and female natured story that the film portrays. After producing a documentary last year Isobel has branched out to the art department to discover the creative side to filmmaking. She hopes to lead a successful career in the film industry as a producer or art director, but she aims to continue her education in both departments. Through her past and future experiences, she wants to learn many skills allowing her to be a help to anyone on set.
